Policies
There are a few policies that contain important information about the student device, internet access and guidelines on general use that parents should be aware of. Below you will find a link to those policies and a general summary of key points.
Student Mobile Phone and Smartwatch Policy
The policy ensures that learning time stays focused and respectful, supports responsible digital habits, and aligns with national online safety and respectful relationships priorities.
Key Points for Parents
Smart Watches:

Not permitted for any year level
Junior School:

Students who bring a phone must sign it in at Reception each morning and collect it after school.
Senior School:
Year 7

Parents complete a form listing the phone type and number.

Phones must be handed in to the Student Wellbeing Centre before homeroom and collected after school (open 8.00am–4.00pm. Phones not collected by 4.00pm will be kept overnight).
Years 8 – 12

Phones must be stored in lockers and switched off during the day.

Phones may remain in school bags (switched off) before and after school.

No classes require phones, and study periods are phone-free.

Trips/tours: phone use decided case-by-case with clear guidelines for families.
Internet Acceptable Use Policy
The policy ensures that all users, including students, use the school’s internet and technology resources in a way that is:

Compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988

Supportive of a secure and positive learning environment
It explains users’ rights and responsibilities when accessing school devices and networks, aiming to protect both people and data.

Parents can reinforce responsible habits at home — especially when school devices are used off campus.
The policy sets clear expectations for how students should behave, treat others, and represent the School both on and off campus, in a way that reflects the School’s values of Belonging, Excellence, Authenticity, and Imagination.

Devices: Bring charged, for learning only, and treated as school property.

Phones/Smartwatches: Strictly limited during the school day.

Internet Use: For schoolwork only; monitored and restricted.
